Playing three days of DND with Beth at DND in a Castle was a genuinely life changing experience. The campaign was heart wrenching and beautiful, the game expertly run, and the story allowed for such intense character moments. As a visibly queer person, finding a game that is sure to be safe and accepting among strangers isn’t always an easy task, but Beth’s table was immediately so explicitly inclusive and welcoming that I never once felt anything but at ease being myself at the table. 

The safe and inclusive environment allowed me to really explore some deep feelings in my character and engage at the table in some really touching roleplay. There have been a few “AHA” moments in my life where I got to think “Oh, DND can be this, holy ****” and really change the way I thought of the game for the better, and this was one of them. It’s inspired me to get into writing and DMing more! 

I’ve never had a more cathartic experience at the table, and maybe not in life either. If you’re looking for a tabletop experience that is deeply emotional, told in a world that is thematically and practically very thoroughly filled out, with NPCs that are multidimensional and complex, this is your game. I truly cannot recommend the experience enough.
